| 内容記述 | 時間の比較判断における余分な情報の影響について,文章題を用いて検討した。小学5年生(n=64)に,2人の移動時間を比較する文章題を14問解いてもらった。各文章題には距離,速さ,出発時刻,到着時刻の4変数のうちの2つまたは3つの情報(3つ情報があるとき,1つは余分な情報)が含まれており,参加者にはどちらの人の移動時間が長いかを判断してもらった。結果を,時間判断に用いる2つの知識(すなわち,"時間=到着時刻-出発時刻"と"時間=距離/速さ")の関係づけの観点から検討した。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | The effect of unnecessary information contained in textual mathematical problems on the comprehension of the problems was investigated. Participants were 64 fifth grade students. They solved 14 problems, each of which contained either two or three types of information, out of four types of information about two traveling persons: distance, speed, starting time, and arrival time. The participants judged which person traveled for a longer duration. The results are discussed from the perspective of understanding the relationship between two types of knowledge regarding duration: "duration=arrival time-starting time" and "duration=distance/speed". | |||||
