| 内容記述 | We surveyed the supply condition of lodging houses for students around the Saijoh Campus of Hiroshima University in the autumn of 1990. And, we observed the change of its supply concerning to the location, the style of building, the type of room, the house rent, and the like. The university began moving to the Saijoh Campus in a suburb of Hiroshima in 1982, and the integration will finish in the spring of 1995. It is about 5km from the campus to the Saijoh Station and it takes about 30 minutes from the station to Hiroshima Station by train. The conclusions are as follows ; (1) In the first year of moving, the university requested the farmers around the campus to offer rooms or lodging houses for students. In 1990, we observed the lodging houses built of wood in the garden or surplus site of a farmhouse and the rooms of a farmhouse for students. But, a lot of neat apartment houses for students were built of light gauge steel in farmland soon after the university began moving, and managing the lodging houses for students became a speculative business. (2) In the year of moving, most of lodging houses are one room type with a kitchen, a bath and a toilet. After 1985, few lodging houses with a common kitchen, a common bath and a common toilet were observed. The larger size of room has been supplied year by year, and now the room with 8 sheets of tatami (about 13.2m^2) is popular. (3) The house rent is under the influence of not only the convenient distance for the railway station but also the size of room and the appurtenance. | |||||
