| 内容記述 | The latest subjects on groundwater pollution have been diversified because the pollutant sources were on increase. Especially, the quality of groundwater in many coastal lowlands is going to become from bad to worse with the increase of the use of groundwater. Therefore, it is one of the urgent problems to prevent from the salt-water intrusion into the groundwater aquifers. In this paper, it was tried to generalize on the latest studies with reference to phenomena of the salt-water intrusion. The contents were explained such that 1) actual conditions of the saline areas in Japan, 2) examples of the field research work and 3) analytical methods for the phenomena of salt-water intrusion into coastal aquifers. | |||||
