| 内容記述 | We investigated the supply condition of lodging houses for students during 15 years after the establishment of Fukuyama University in 1975. And we observed the change of its supply in the location, the style of building, the type of room, the house rent, and the like. Observed changes are as follows ; (1) Lodging houses for students were built of wood in the garden or surplus site of a farmhouse soon after the establishment of the university. In recent 5 years, neat apartment houses were built of light gauge steel or reinforced concrete in the convinient distance for railway staition. And they often have a shop or an office in the building. In a word, they have been a speculative business. (2) 15 years ago, the most lodging houses had only one room with 4.5 sheets of tatami (about 7.4m^2). In recent 5 years, they have a room with 6 sheets of tatami (about 10m^2), a kitchen, a bath and a toilet. | |||||
