| 内容記述 | Mitsuki district is located in the eastern part of Hiroshima, and lies along the Mitsuki river that flows into the Inland Sea of Seto. Mitsuki, therefore, was the important place for the trade of agricultural and marine products. In Mitsuki, some ancient houses remain now, and the Makita's house is the oldest one that was built in 1831. Makita's family had been the chief of the village. This house is very interesting to study, and is little corroded and reconstructed. In this study, the authors inquire into this house in detail and try to investigate how this house is affected by the history, the natural features, and the traditions of Mitsuki district. | |||||
