| 内容記述 | This paper studies the process of hydrologic cycle in the basin of Lake Biwa, especially in the winter season, from the system-theoretic point of view, The four-tank model is used for modeling the hydrologic process from precipitation to runoff in the basin. Then it is possible to represent the hydrologic process as a discrete-time dynamical system, which consists of a pair of state equation (tank model) and observation equation (water balance). A systemtheoretic state estimation method is applied to the dynamical system in order to estimate unobservable internal states of the cycle on the basis of・ observed output data. As a result, it is possible to evaluate the amount of water in each process of the hydrologic cycle such as.snowmelt, rainfall, water storage, and runoff. | |||||
