| 内容記述 | Plants cultivated in Fukuyama University Campus are 32 families and 63 species. Most of them are deciduous trees and present a beautiful view in every spring and autumn. Fukuyama University is situated in the south-east of Hiroshima prefecture and annual average temperature and precipitaion are 14.7℃ and 1237.8 mm, respectively. Before the establishment of the campus, the land and field were cultivated with agricultural and fruit products. Several ponds are located around hills in the campus and you can watch a lot of wild birds in thicket and carps in pond. At top on the hill near women-dormitory the herb garden is located. Here, you can enjoy seasonal flowers and herbs in plesant surroundings. This report is concerned with the plants cultivated in Fukuyama University Campus. They were examined by students of school of pharmacognosy in the Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at autumn, 1995 and spring, 1996. Classification and scientific names used were followed by Makino' s "New Illustrated Flora of Japan (1962)". | |||||
