| 内容記述 | The purpose of ESD (Education for Sustainable Development) is to raise the sense of values and capability for building sustainable societies by understanding and bringing solutions to various global-scale problems. It is the important mission of teachers to understand the problems and find how to make learning materials based on them in the teaching practice of ESD. Globalization is a keyword to understand the contemporary world and is also one of the important viewpoints. Some of the global-scale problems were caused by globalization. Among others, the problem of growing inequality or widening disparities is the most serious one and an important learning content to be grappled by ESD towards realization of sustainable societies. The problem of globalization has multiple aspects and should be taken up in high school level geography education which tries to grasp a phenomenon comprehensively and investigate its related issues as inquisitive learning practice. Based on the above-mentioned background, this paper aims to examine how to deal with the global-scale disparity problems caused by globalization as well as its solution as a content of ESD in geography education and affirm the direction of creating relevant learning materials. |
