 note = {40020398837, 地上の楽園と呼ばれるバリ島には海外・国内から毎年多くの観光客が訪れている。バリ島の魅力は典型的なリゾートのイメージだけではなく、ヒンドゥー教に根ざした伝統文化にあり、多くの人々が「神々の住む島」バリに魅了される。観光開発が進む中で、バリ島は環境問題等多くの問題を抱えながらも、バリの人々は「世界的観光地バリ」を誇りにし、観光と伝統文化は相互の発展に寄与しあっている。本稿では観光開発がバリ社会にどのような影響を与えているのか、バリの人々の伝統文化や社会慣習に対する意識はどのように変化しているのかを調査・分析している。, "A magical paradise"―Bali Island attracts a large number of tourists from both overseas and domestic market. It is attractive not only for its typical resort image but also because of its traditional culture based on Balinese Hinduism. Many tourists have been fascinated with "The Island of the gods". While tourism development advances and some environmental problems occur, the Balinese people enjoy the reputation as a prominent tourist destination. Moreover, tourism and vibrant culture are interacting harmoniously in order to develop Balinese society.
