The temperature sometimes reaches to over 800℃, higher than phase transformation point This paper motivates to describe the elastic-plastic response of a fire resistant steel subjected to such variation of stress and temperature by applying the unified constitutive theory of transformation-thermoplasticity proposed by one of the authors.
