This calculation method is obtained by putting a global matrix in Newton-Raphson method to a unit matrix. A effective technique is introduced in this method for improving the convergence to equilibrium state. This presented method is simple and it has high accuracy, although it needs large number of iterations to the convergence. In addition, this complete diagonal method becomes faster in calculation time than the conventional Newton-Raphson method if the number of nodal points becomes larger. The calculation examples of upsetting of 3-dimensional cylinder block by this method are shown.
