The flexural failure properties of the RC columns which had been built with the high strength shear reinforcement of 1275N/mm^2 and the concrete of 39N/mm^2 were examined. When the amount of the shearing reinforcement increases, it has been understood that ultimate strength and the deformation capability increase both.
