In this simulation, two different Mars's atmospheres are used to confirm the effects of atmospheric pressure change on the flowfield around capsule, and the computations are carried out for four points on a trajectory of the capsule at Mach numbers of 2, 3, 5, and 10. By these simulations, differences of the flow structures for effects of atmospheric pressure change and various Mach numbers are clarified. The computational results show that the location of the separation behind the capsule is governed by the strength of the reverse pressure gradient.
