They graduated from Tokyo Teikoku University. Fujii Koji was a professor architect. The Fujii family was carrying on business before the Edo era,and Yoichiemon (Koji's father) extended his operations in Fukuyama. The Fujii family had many industrial arts, antiques etc. Koji got married with Senge Tosiko who was a daughter of Senge Takatomi (the chief priest of Izumo Taisha). He had intimate acquaintance with many intellectuals, artists, famous writers etc. Nishikawa Issotei was one of them.
