Simple binarization techniques to extract target images to pinpoint the center do not work well, when they dot the bright background. In this paper a precise measurement algorithm of target images is discussed by use of the Laplacian of Gaussian (LoG) filter. A window is taken to include each target image is filtered with a LoG filter and its periphery is extracted. The centroid of pixel intensities inside the periphery is calculated. According to an experiment on camera calibration in a two-dimensional target space with bright background, 0.04mm of a posteriori precision of image point coordinates was obtained.}, pages = {137--142}, title = {カメラキャリブレーションのためのターゲット中心座標の精密計測}, volume = {26}, year = {2002} }
