Magnetite particles as magnetic seeding material and flocculants are added to polluted water, and then magnetic flocks containing magnetite particles and non-magnetic particles in polluted water are formed. A magnetic filter captures those magnetic flocks. In this study, the capture of magnetic flocks is investigated on a single wire to make the suitable conditions for the capture of magnetic flocks using a magnetic filter clear. Glass particles are used as non-magnetic particles. Polymer flocculants and aluminum sulfate are used as flocculants. The dependence of the concentration of non-magnetic particles, the concentration of flocculants, the concentration of magnetic particles and magnetic field on the profile of the capture of magnetic flocks is observed and is analyzed. In addition, magnetic flocks are observed under various conditions.
