内容記述 | Recently, computer graphics comes to be used in various fields such as CAD/CAM, scientific visualization, entertainments, and its importance rises more. In the field of entertainment, the technique of image deformation is recognized as an attractive technique, and widely used for TV commercials or movies. The deformation technique is referred as "morphing", which is an image processing technique typically used as an animation tool for the metamorphosis from one to another. Deforming the image is performed by overlapping mesh with the source image to transform a two-dimensional image to another and by moving the lattice points of the mesh. In the proposal method, the lattice points are handled as the control points of Bezier patches or B-spline patches, then the method guarantees the continuity of first derivative of the deformed image. We calculate the image deformation as an inverse mapping. The one of authors has already proposed the Bezier Clipping method which is used for the intersection test between Bezier patches and ray, the inverse mapping is performed by the Bezier Clipping method. By using the Bezier Clipping method, the proposed methods provide an animation technique with smooth deformation. | |||||
