| 内容記述 | An experimental study[1] was conducted to determine the dynamic characteristics of surface-floating particles in liquids flowing in a two-dimensional, semicircular open channel. A modified dynamic(Basset-Boussinesq-Oseen) equation was derived. It is disclosed that the dynamic characteristics (or traceability) of such a surface-floating particle is governed by a dimensionless parameter, i.e. dimensionless time t_* divided by drag coefficient Cd. In this paper, the motion of surface-floating particles at various flows in a straight and a curved channel is experimentally and numerically studied. The purpose of this study is to confirm the validity of the modified B.B.O. equation and to investigate the role of the dimensionless parameter t_*/Cd in particle tracing. | |||||
