In this paper, commutating equations and a numerical solution are first presented to analyse the commutation characteristics. In commutating equations, where each armature coil is short-circuited by two brushes, the nonlinear contact voltage characteristics between brushes and a commutator, the fluctuations of brush currents caused by circulating currents in commutating circuits, the mica width for insulation among segments and so on are taken into consideration. In the numerical solution, the finite difference method is applied to solve time varying commutating equations. Next, through the numerical analysis concerning to an actual machine, it is made clear that the brush width much infuluences on commutation characteristics and the best choice of brush width may improves the commutation characteristics.}, pages = {15--21}, title = {波巻直流機の整流特性の数値解析}, volume = {12}, year = {1990} }
