A system of linear equations is formulated from a point spread function. Unique image can be restored by this method since the method satisfies both the necessary and sufficient conditions for obtaining solutions. By a method of cojugate gradients, an accurate solution is obtained by a relatively simple computation procedure and by a finite number of iterations. Computer simulations are made to restore the image by a point spread function of normal distribution.
