The ground of the city is supposed to be so weak that the considerations on the soil ground will be necessary for the safety of the city against the future severe earthquakes. Based on the data on the composition of the soil layers and N-values of the standard penetration tests obtained from the boring tests in the city, the distribution of the weak soil layers such as clays and silts is discussed. From the observation of micro tremors of the surface ground at 34 primary and junior high schools in the city, the predominant periods or- frequencies of the ground are detected and the dynamic characteristics of the ground are also discussed.}, pages = {68--85}, title = {福山市の地盤特性について(開学10周年記念号)}, volume = {7}, year = {1985} }
