The taxonomy of euryhaline rotifer have been argued for long time and not decided yet. They were classified into one species, then were divided into two species because of divergence of morphologic, reproductive and genetic character. After that, some different type of rotifer were found and more than three species of rotifer were reported based on the results of analysis of genetic divergence. Each factor on the classification of euryhaline rotifer have been investigated separately by plural authors, every factor have not been taken into consideration yet. Therefore taxonomic problems on euryhaline rotifer were still unsolved.
