We studied the effect of environmental noise to prenatal or early postnatal period on the development of mice emotional and anxiety-related behavior and the spatial learning in mice. Present results indicated that environmental noise to early postnatal period might cause learning impairment accompanied by the emotional and anxiety disorder afterwards. In the other study, the effect of (Z)-3-hexenol, one of the main constituent of green odor, on the anxiety-related behavior of mouse in an elevated plus-maze and the content of 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) and its metabolite in the brain were investigated.
