The sequence of D_<470>EXXXLI_<476> is crucial for its binding adaptor protein complexes, AP-1 and AP-3, which are involved in vesicular transport to endosomal and lysosomal system. Early and late endosomes and lysosomes constitute this system. I have studied how the sequence determines the localization of LGP85 in the endosomal and lysosomal system. D_<470> and E_<471> function to transport of LGP85 from early endosomes to late endosomes. I_<476> of LI motif is a determinant for proper distribution of LGP85 between late endosomes and lysosomes. In this review, I describe an independent role of pivotal amino acids of the signal sequence in localization of LGP85 in the endocytic organelles.}, pages = {29--52}, title = {リソソーム膜糖蛋白質LGP85/LIMP IIのリソソーム局在化シグナルの解析}, volume = {19}, year = {2001} }
