When a loss of body weight and a decrease in spontaneous motor activity were observed in tumor-bearing mice, lipoprotein lipase activity in adipose tissue and hepatic lipase activity in liver were decreased. Activities of both enzymes were also decreased in serum but were markedly increased in tumor.
