Detail descriptions of the mechanisms and periselectivities of the reacitons of 2-oxyallyl-Fe(II) cation with five- and seven-membered ring unsaturated compounds are given based on the theory and notion. It is also mentioned that the reactions of dichlorocarbene and the 2-oxyallyl-Fe(II) cation with seven-membered ring unsaturated compounds and their tricarbonyliron complexes show significant differences in their periselectivities and reaction patterns.
