| 内容記述 | 本稿では、医療扶助受給者の健康状態を改善するための公共政策が考察された。パネルデータを用いた分析を通じて、政府から家計への所得移転は、医療扶助受給者の健康状態を改善するために寄与していることと、被生活保護者への所得分配率が相対的に高い都道府県では、医療扶助受給者の健康改善度が高くなる傾向があることが見出された。他方、所得移転の規模を拡張する政策を実施した場合に改善される健康の程度は、医療扶助受給者の方が健康な家計よりも大きいことが、最適健康投資モデルの数値シミュレーションによって明らかになった。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | Public policy on the Medicaid eligible in Japan was analyzed in this paper. In panel data analysis, two conjectures were developed. One is that income transferred from government to the poor contributes to improve health standards at the poor. The other is that for places with a relatively higher income distribution there is a trend for people on Medicaid to have a higher degree of health improvement. On the other hand, the numerical simulation based optimal health investment model was conducted. The results of the simulation provide that a degree of health improvement of people on Medicaid is higher than that of the healthy people in the case the magnitude of income transferred is enlarged. The aim of this policy is not to deteriorate health of the Medicaid eligible. | |||||
