Three hundred ninety-three mothers' data were analyzed (responses from fathers were very few). The results were as follows: 1) The number of mothers who knew the words "gender" or "gender free" was not very high, but they understood the connotation of social constructedness. 2) Their knowledge of the words affected how they thought about the origins of gender differences. 3) Many mothers' thought traditional activities like girls' and boys' festivals were important as cultural perpetuators, but interchangeable with regards to sex.. 4) Few mothers opposed the use of co-ed changing rooms or toilets for children. Therefore, it is believed that the concepts of "gender" or "gender free" are understandable to the general public and need to be popularized.}, pages = {1--9}, title = {ジェンダー・フリーについてのしろうと理論}, volume = {2}, year = {2008} }
