          <datacite:description descriptionType="Other">In order to clarify the elasto-plastic behavior of steel structure subjected to strong earthquake motion, many experimental studies have been carried out. Although almost all of them are tested by means of static loading, we should make sure of the behavior of structure by means of dynamic loading to estimate dynamic characteristics of structures. In this paper, therefore, we examine the restoring force characteristic and damping due to hysteresis of the steel frame statically and dynamically.</datacite:description>
