          <datacite:description descriptionType="Other">By appearing of the various kinds of image input system, the amount of the onput data becomes larger than before. The CAD/CAM system in which the large amount of line segments are processing, faces the problem of data reduction for input data. For the quick and tiny data size, the improved sequential data reduction procedure for the digitized line segments is reported in this paper. The quickness of processing and the ability of error control are examined with another data reduction procedure through the simulation.</datacite:description>
